Five Havurot

The word “Havurah” comes from the Hebrew word “haver” meaning “friend.” B’nai Vail has several Havurot that meet on a monthly basis. A Havurah provides a social atmosphere for interested members to broaden their knowledge of Judaism, their Jewish skills and their social acquaintances within the congregation. Gatherings are typically held at members’ homes and the topic is selected by the host. There’s often a potluck meal and plenty of time for socializing!

The meetings are open to members and will be posted in the B’nai Vail newsletters. Non-members may attend on a space available basis. All Havurot activities are open to all B’nai Vail members on a “first reserve” basis. Under certain circumstances, space is limited so reservations are requested.
